There are some books that when I read aloud to the girls, I just can't make it through. The Tale of Three Trees is one of them. I'm seriously sobbing at the end of it. And Annika starts sobbing too, but she's faking it. Taylor grabs me a tissue.

Gosh, I'm so not good at reading this kind of stuff to the kids. Rana would probably listen, but would fight me to try to read it herself. The boys have the attention span of 4 and 2 year olds. You're good to read them bigger, better stories.
Mason has one that Jill P. gave him that I can't make it through, and he grabs me a tissue. It's so sad. Mattie just laughs.
I love that Annika fakes crying!
